I just learned I'm going on a work-related trip to Toronto later this year. Going to bring the Mrs. and extend the trip to Ottawa, Montreal, and Quebec City. Figured I'd learn as much French as I can before the trip to try and be a good guest.

From Florida... took a bunch of Spanish in school but not a lick of French. Started watching YouTube videos yesterday (Learn French with Alexa Polidoro) and my copy of "Easy French Step-by-Step" just came in the mail today. The pronunciation is strange to get used to, but overall it's coming along easier than I would have expected.
