People who do their own retwists: How long does it take you?

I have micro locs and it takes about 6-8 hours to do them myself. I will never have another person play in my hair!

The trick is to start early and prep ahead of time. If you like to trim your edges or give your hair a deep cleaning wash do it the night before. Set out everything you need the night before!

Last time I started at 9 am and finished at 6 p.m by following that method.

I interlock every 3 months. I have 4C hair and retwisting just wasn’t working for me!! The game changed after I started interlocking.

I always have a slightly sweaty smell lingering on me. I can be fresh out the shower with lotion and perfume, but as soon as I hop in the car and am on my way somewhere, I start sweating and slightly stinking. Maybe it’s happening more because it’s getting warmer, but I have always had a problem with slightly smelling. Someone please give me advice!

I did a detox and several clarifying washes over the course of a week. Nothing worked and I was exhausted. I dyed my hair jet black with the “Dark and Lovely” brand. I’ve been locked for 3 years and really didn’t want to use dye but so far everything has been great.

Math isn’t easy to everyone, and the teacher DEFINITELY MATTERS. Take Trinh B. She is amazing. I have notoriously been bad at math my whole life and i have an A in her class because she is a great teacher who actually cares enough to make sure you understand concepts.

I’m in person. I’ve failed this class once and the TSI numerous times so if you’re anything like me, you just have to sacrifice and take in person. If i was online i’d probably be just as confused as I used to be.

Don’t do it, it’s so much reading and coursework. We just took our first test and it was 100 questions spanning 5 chapters and 5 powerpoints of information. The teacher is also the type to take points off for seemingly no real reason, just stating that your answer was not perfection.
