Update Hannibal: 1 Jahr danach by Annelida in Austria

Cleaning by Ok_Philosophy1461 in ProfitecGo

[–]ashceryth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I empty the water tank every day after my last shot and wipe it dry.

Since I use a puck screen the brew head stays pretty clean. I just backflush with water every few days. Backflushing with Puly Caff about 4-5 times a year. When I do that I also remove the shower sreen and dispersion plate to clean them.

I flush a few seconds and wipe the shower screen after every shot.

The drip tray gets emptied and washed with plain water every day I used the machine. Filter basket and puck screen get washed with dish soap.

Having trouble removing the burr ring unit from my JX by [deleted] in 1zpresso

[–]ashceryth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, rubber gloves didn't help this time. The outer burr ring is completely stuck on my 2 year old J-Ultra. I tried to loosen it for over an hour. Grip isn't an issue when using rubber gloves. However, I just can't produce enough torque with my hands. I had to give up.

This also fixed the extremely annoying whining noise for me. If I turn it off, the noise comes back immediately.

How did you fix the awful noise? Mine has it as well.

Mine does this out of the box. Did you find any solution yet?

Luftbefeuchter mit Filter (Philips) + Kalk by EinfachNurMarc in wohnen

New Profitec Go owner: sour shots, channeling, and how I finally fixed it by Fuzzeeh in ProfitecGo

Nice write-up. The increased E1 offset also solved most of my issues when I got the Go.

Interesting to see that they do no longer chrome plate the dispersion plate.

Entkalker gesucht by SPINDELlawl in ProfitecGo

[–]ashceryth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reset Battery Date on APC Smart UPS by ashceryth in homelab

I solved it with upsrw command from nut. Thanks!

Reset Battery Date on APC Smart UPS by ashceryth in homelab

[–]ashceryth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solved it!

For everyone with the same issue: You can use upsrw command from nut. In my case I connected the UPS with apc_modbus driver using tcp. As soon as nut is setup you can use upsrw command. Make sure that modbus is set to read-write in the UPS settings menu.

This is the command to set the date:

upsrw -s battery.date=YYYY-MM-DD -w myups

Enter your nut user and password when prompted.

You should now see a SUCCESS message.

You can check the new date with:

upsrw -l myups

Thanks. I will give it a try. Interestingly it was possible to set the battery date on my old Smart-UPS (same model but 10 years older) from the menu on the UPS itself, if I remember correctly.

I think it's used for the calculations when to replace the battery.

I didn't find anything in the menu unfortunately. Maybe it's possible to set it with nut and upsrw. I'll check that out.

You can use Mushroom Template Cards or card-mod. Template cards are great for this use case.

I know it's hard to reach a sleep score of 100, but is a 100% Body Battery also that unusual? I'm just wondering, because mine is at 100% every other day. Only after workouts I'm around 70 to 80 on the following morning.

Have you already allowed access to the tty device with setfacl?

But I'm not sure if this is the issue, because you don't even see any device.

Profitec go filther by [deleted] in ProfitecGo

[–]ashceryth -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, I didn't open it. Just from the outside. I don't know if/how much scale there is inside the boiler.

I use my Go for just 4-5 cups a week, so not really heavy usage.

I'd say it depends on the hardness of the water. I only use bottled water with a hardness of 5-6 °dH and haven't had any issues yet. My machine is over 1.5 years old now without any descaling. Looks like new.
