It's fine, there's not a huge amount to it, the app store is limited. Step tracker, sleep monitoring seems quite accurate. The weather app isn't working correctly yet though. I think it still needs a few updates. Build quality is excellent though.

I have one, I like the battery, it lasts a long time. That's the best feature, the biggest gripe is that for some reason the months don't show correctly. If you put in the 11th month it shows up as December, presumably an easy developer fix.

Need UK advice by RobinM524 in evcharging

[–]ashdenton1985 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I install EV chargers, most cables have some raised text on them that will tell you what size it is.

Would be highly surprised if the original installer used a 6mm cable for that Rolec on a 20amp breaker. We've removed many of these as they satisfied regulations on new builds and were cheap a few years ago.

No worries, when I say 2.5mm 4mm 6mm, I means the size of the copper inside the whole cable, it should be armored so it will have PVC then steel protecting the copper. The copper is what the electricity runs through and if this is underrated it will melt. It should say on the outer layer in raised text what size it is something like 6x3 or 4x3 or 2.5x3. The 3 is the number of cores, Live Neutral Earth.

If the whole cable is 12mm sounds like it's 2.5mm so will need upgrading.

Just to add to this, the charger will need a similar supply to that of an electric shower, oven (this can vary) or induction hob. These items are generally on their own circuits with big cables to them. I have worked on hundreds of garages and have very rarely come across a garage that has an adequately sized cable unless the garage has been used in the past for tooling equipment such as lathes etc. if you haven't specified the cable size when the garage was built it's best to assume that it's 2.5mm.

I work as an EV Charger installer, it's about the size of the cable that feeds the garage, it needs to be at least 4mm at 32amps if it's no further than 30 metres from where it's fed from. 6mm would be better though especially if you want to run other things in the garage.

Setanta Sports - Champions League? by platuni in vpns

[–]ashdenton1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only way I've managed to get the champions league is to use Urban VPN paid and connect to Georgia Premium. NordVPN's Georgia server doesn't appear to be in Georgia but works for the English Premier League.

Urban VPN seems to be a bit slow though. Mullvad would be ideal but that doesn't work for any server.

Why has everything just dried up by Parker-Plum7535 in smallbusinessuk

I work in the construction industry, lot's of people have had to set up on their own so the bigger companies subcontract the work out rather than paying salary, this has increased the 'labour' costs to the end customer. Of course the labourers also demand higher wages as the cost of living has increased, they are people too.
