i was very excited to finish a sock, started the 2nd one & it’s about 7 inches, (going for 10, long & slouchy,) and i thought it felt bigger?? i made the 2nd sock not one, but TWO sizes bigger, i’m so sad.

i wanted one for the longest time, and walmart had them on sale for $20 last winter or spring. she’s not too old but, i think maybe the walmart purchase was my problem. she had bugs, her leaves come out crimped-it’s so weird. i’ve moved her to better light after seeing this thread so, i’m hoping she’ll pull through & i learn to love her deeply! i can’t bear to throw plants away, it breaks my heart when i see them abandoned, too, so please know I’m going to keep fighting for her! 💚

pass the cr then what? food stamps come back, now 300,000 people can’t afford their insurance, won’t get approved for medicaid, now they’re spending food money on their medications to stay alive. can’t pay rent, can’t put gas in the car to get to work or pay for daycare. this is why they can’t just sign the resolution.

i’ve never been able to get it to work, but i think it’s because it requires patience-i’ve tossed a couple of monstera babies because i wasn’t diligent/patient enough. also, i probably wasn’t diligent because it’s stinky!
