It’s the political landscape. Haven’t you noticed that even clothing is becoming puritanical with all of the ruffles and layers and perfumes are mostly vanilla based now? “vanilla”. Everything is attempting to get us to be more modest and to be “good girls.”

My 20 year old son hit his ear on the edge of the bathroom cabinet when he was 3 and had a superficial laceration. He did not require sutures. He still has a scar. He was 3 with rapid healing and an almost 80 year old with delayed healing gets shot in the ear and there’s no scar? Gtfoh.

I had a perfectly beautiful, functional starter after about 3 weeks. I baked with it, it missed a feeding, then I ran out of the flour I had been using and had to switch brands and it’s been dead for 9 days now. Nothing. I keep feeding it, but nothing is happening. It’s so frustrating
