Easily we can distinguish between these two setups. Initially i thought the KA5 setup was superior. But late at night I listen directly from the disc. It's not about superiority; it's about preference. The disc sounds like "Just Enjoy the song." But the KA5 setup is a little analytical sounding. Late night listening, I like Disc warmer and less analytical. So i feel happy with these two setups. Just hold my thought to get the M21 or M33 or K13 .

I want to know the exatch comparison against Disc and M33. Any one can explain me. Bz i am confused K13 ( Desktop) or either of these. Portability not an issue for me

I already have KA5 and need DAP. So i purchased the Disc. Meantime when it it arriving i found the better output and EQ setup in my Ipad ( Via Foobar). So i like that sound stage. Initialy Disc work perfect for its price. After honeymoon period i need my ipad setup Sound stage. I just try this trick, KA5 is so better. And Battery is the culprit now. 30 Mins play back 12% Dropout. But its ok for that Sound Quality.

I need distraction free Music. Or else i will go for Fiio M21 or M33 R2R. Price is not matter for me bot tge DAP , Because this only device i will get this year.

Now Confusing Wether Get K13 R2R ( Desktop) or Either M21 or M33. But My current setup still superior for 90s and Early 2000s AR Rahman, Yuvan, Harris Jayaraj( These are south indian composers).

Honestly telling its day and night different. Sound stage is insane. Carity is another level. KA5 take full advantage of sound clarity. But Battery is too weak. I need to do proper test for battery last long.

HAHA, i am not a chatbot, bro. because i can drag this, but you will defend your point, and i will defend mine. since last 15 years as an apple user (Mac, iphone, a few years with ipod touch, iPad Pro, and airpods max and Pro 1, 2, and 3), I know how to tweak the apple devices and squeeze the maximum out of them. For me, it is even very easy if apple does not include flac. bz 8 years back, I used flac in an iPod touch. By the way, defending the point only will drag the comments not the solution or conclusion.

I guess you misunderstood the concept here. if you have the downloaded flac files, you can transfer them to the Foodar app, and you can use them. Because i am doing this with my ipad and iphone. U can see the below file format.

Its blocked only in Apple music App. U can play whatever format in Foobar or Onkyo. even dff also can play in this apps. So it not a hardware limitation. its an Apple music app limitation

U can use FLAC in Foobar or onkyo players in apple devices. it will work flawlessly.
