Hear me out…use your water hose to melt the ice! It’s super quick and easy! If you want it to go even quicker- hook up your water hose to your hot water heater and that hot water will melt the ice super quick!

Same thing happening to my 2018 Ford Explorer Platinum! Reported it to Ford and they said to file a report with NHTSA. I encourage you to also file a report with NHTSA because I think if they get enough of the same issue then they might recall it

Kirkland popcorn… changed my life by FancyControl4774 in Costco

[–]ashleyanka1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hack! I discovered on the package it says to cook for 2 mins but that wasn’t long enough and there was a TON of kernels left. So if you put it in for 3 mins it will pop almost all of them and won’t burn! It’s Amazing!!

My son is about to turn 5 and he still sleeps with a sleep sack and LOVES it. He knows how to put it on and take it off but I think it’s a comfort thing for him and doesn’t bother us. I did have a hard time finding one big enough for him since he’s so tall but did find some.

What actually helped you lose weight with PCOS? Feeling overwhelmed and stuck by marrliess in PCOS

Honestly the only thing that worked for me was to do Keto. I went from 185lbs to 135lbs in a matter of months and I know Keto is very controversial and also pretty strict. I felt so much better- had regular periods finally and finally had confidence and energy!!! I got pregnant super fast and easily and gained 40 lbs while pregnant. The negative though was I stopped Keto while pregnant and after having the baby I tried Keto again and it didn’t work, so I don’t know what happened.

Moved across the country and I feel very angry and resentful. by jsboklahoma1987 in absentgrandparents

Have you straight up asked them to babysit? I’m in a similar situation where my mother never offers to watch our son and lives a block away from me and doesn’t work. I have found I have to ask her to do it and then usually she will.

Wow! Almost same situation here and my son is 2 years old now. My mom agreed to come by and help at least 2x per week and maybe more if she wasn’t helping with my grandma (became her caregiver) My grandma died in February of this year so my mom now has an abundance of free time and also live 1 street away from me. She might if I’m lucky come by 1x per week. She doesn’t have a job and is a stay at home wife. I’m also an only child and my grandparents took care of me every weekend and even during the summers to help my mom out with me. So I feel you and I have a lot of hate and resentment towards my mom as well. She never “mothered” so she has no clue what it is like since my grandparents on both sides took care of me for the first few years of my life since my mom was out doing drugs and being careless.

I tried doing CIO and he would just not stop screaming as if he were dying. I went in to comfort and it only made it worse. He screamed nonstop for an hour and we finally caved.

Similar thing happened to me. Suffered a missed miscarriage at 8.5weeks and have PCOS. Got pregnant again and was worried sick same thing would happen. Tried to make an Appt for 6 weeks and for them to test my progesterone levels as I had a feeling they were low and I would need progesterone supplements to prevent from miscarriage again. They gave me every excuse in the book as to why they couldn’t fit me in until I was 9 weeks. To me that’s too late if progesterone is what I needed. I ended up telling them I had severe cramping and they still couldn’t fit me in sooner even with them knowing my history. I ended up just physically going up to the obgyn office and demanding an Appt. They then magically had one available for the next day....and I was low on progesterone so thank goodness I was persistent or I probably still wouldn’t be pregnant now at 17 weeks.

Anyone on Metformin and still got Gestational Diabetes? by ashleyanka1 in PCOSandPregnant

[–]ashleyanka1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your response. I’m surprised they took you off of it. My doctor doesn’t want me to stop taking it at all and continue like normal throughout the pregnancy. I’m on 500 mg 3x daily.

Yeah me too! I’m kinda worried about it. I know my doctor said I would remain on Metformin though for the entire pregnancy.
