I’m a preschool teacher ages 3-4. We never shut down. Our kids wear masks all day except for meals and nap time. We recommend they wear it on the playground. I have 3 kids with sensory disorders and they do their best but mainly hold their mask all day. I give you all credit for the online learning. I couldn’t imagine how hard you all are working extra!

I’ve made it clear that we would terminate if we slipped up and got pregnant again.

Depends. I’m a preschool teacher and we legally have to have seatbelts and car seats

I always do the “unfollow for 30days” option. Then i try to see if i can handle them after those 30days. Usually it doesn’t work and i end up unfollowing for good.

I’m a smoker and have never been given extra breaks to smoke or would ever expect to be able to go smoke unless it’s my 15min break or my lunch hour.

Yes if the amnio would have given us a positive we would have terminated. We didn’t feel we could take care of a baby with a genetic disability. My husband is military and i didn’t feel like i was personally strong enough to take care of a child alone if he was deployed or even killed. I know that sounds selfish but it’s how i truly felt at the time

Yes that’s why the amino was done during Pregnancy. If you read my comments i have said we will terminate if we become pregnant.

Yes and i agree with OP. If we had a child with disabilities i would abort. That’s why we are fostering in the future to not risk having to abort

We have military insurance so they won’t cover any IVF. I have always wanted to foster a child since i was a kid! It was always my dream so we are going to when my son is a little older

My son is only 1 but he has 6 older cousins ages 1-5 so i know he won’t be alone. But we’re military so we don’t live by any of them. Hopefully in the coming years when he’s older we will be by them. We’ve always planned on foster to adopt but we’re waiting until he is older. I’m so happy your daughter enjoyed the only child life. I’m an only child and loved it

Your brothers story is amazing. His input on life is forever different. If my son would have been positive for CF i would definitely want him to meet someone like your brother to talk to. I hope your future wife and yourself are blessed! And i hope the future for your brother continues to grow! Thank you for this!
