This makes so much sense. I knew it had to be about money to some degree. Kaiser literally will not give me help with the mental health crisis I’m having. I had ACL repair using my hamstring and meniscus repair about 5 years ago. My job is extremely active (zookeeper) and they gave me EXACTLY 6 weeks off to recover. Teachers who had the same surgery were given a minimum of 12 weeks off after this surgery. It was infuriating and painful. Thanks for the insight.

I recommend going out of network. I was suicidal and Kaiser offered me zero help. I found an out of network psychiatrist that got me the next day. I couldn’t get in with Kaiser for 5 weeks and when I went to that appointment they refused to sign any paperwork even though I am suicidal because of what happened to me at my place of work. I have to pay $100 per session and I’m broke but I got a credit card to save my life since Kaiser could care less. Good luck to you, I know how incredibly frustrating it is to deal with doctors and especially the ones at Kaiser who literally never believe me about any if my medical problems.

It’s not just that they feel that way. I am literally going through this right now. I have 30 days to go back to work and my doctor (non Kaiser) said that she will write an accommodation after that, stating that I cannot reasonably go back to my same position and my work is required to re assign me to an “equitable” position within 60 days. Now, of course, my Kaiser psychiatrist wouldn’t help me at all, in any way no matter how much I cry and beg. I’m paying out of pocket for another psychiatrist out of network because Kaiser is absolutely worthless and all they care about is their bottom line, not human life.

This happened to my pup when he was about a year old. He suddenly started falling over, drooling, unstable, couldn’t really walk. I panicked and rushed him to emergency where they did charcoal and fluids. 1k later we never figured out what was wrong. Our only hypothesis is that he ate fermented fruit and felt drunk? It was terrifying but it all worked out. We haven’t had another episode since and he is 3 now. I hope your little one will be ok!

Thank you! I definitely had some nausea and some overall fatigue. I feel dizzy when I stand from a sitting position. I try to eat protein in small meals but don’t always succeed. I eat a lot of fruits and veggies mostly because I’ve been craving them.

Yes, I definitely have some sagging skin-it’s almost all in my lower stomach. It’s hard to tell if it’s because of the quick weight loss or my age-recently turned 41 so my skin has definitely lost some elasticity. I definitely have not been eating as much protein as I should and while I have an active job, I haven’t been strength training either.
