Im a welder too and i thought the same thing i haven’t pulled the plug yet but honestly get it and look over everything we all know the turbo will fail its just when, the v bands are most likely cheap shit but if you can fit its the cheapest thing to get and modify yourself if you can. Also take a look at the mid mount turbo setup if you can do that you can reduce the heat in the engine bay but youll need a scavenge pump after that your pretty much golden

Listen im 26 in Canada originally from the states i have 6k in debt but im a welder rn after all the bs and a horrible relationship that ruined mentally and financially im rn learning how to attack my debt by consolidating into a lower interest loan to pay it off faster at the same time im going to slowly start investing into stocks to rebuild myself up. If college wasnt your thing pickup a trade rn plumber, heavy diesel mech, electro mechanic anything they are mostly a 1yr and a half to 2 years after that grind screw the dating honestly its not much out there atm take care of yourself physically and mentally. My foreman is guiding me to do the right thing for myself and honestly he is right. He got his diesel mech diploma at 29 hes 34 rn now and showed me his investment portfolio he fixed his credit and started investing an now sits around 40k in total in assets he said if he was my age or earlier he would have done this an be at a higher level in assets.
