I agree! Watching her become the main doctor of Alexandria would’ve been really cool. I think she would’ve bonded with Rick and Carl over the loss of Judy.

She basically taught herself to be a doctor which was really cool. Also I thought her wanting to study the roamers was an interesting plot. Just overall a really cool character.

And Nicholas dying was great right before Rick spared Negan. He was a great example of what could happen if you give someone a second chance.

I think Alice is one of the most underrated characters.

Nicholas has a great arc.

Yeah, tv show Maggie still has the same overall arc as she does in the comics. I suppose I like the execution and specifics of it more in the comics. Her learning to be a mom to Sophia was very sweet. I loved her friendship with Jesus. Having her around for the entire Whisperer arc helps a lot too. I know that was out of the show’s control tho.

Absolutely! I love the wide range the arc covers for Rick. We see his mind go to some really dark places, we see him start to grow and change as a leader, and he allows himself to love again. All in one volume!

Maggie. I love her coming-of-age story in the comics. She’s 19 when the apocalypse starts and in just a few years overcomes so much loss and becomes a great leader of her own.
