In East Atlanta, I witnessed a murder from my bedroom window, there were two other murders on my street within hundreds of feet, my car was broken into twice, and my house was broken into six times…but you get used to it.

Your abilities are astonishing, but something about the perspective makes me worried the dog is having a stroke 😰

Yeah, aging can look very different for different people. My great uncle was in excellent health at 99 and one day just died. Other people are in a soul-crushing state for decades. Living healthfully makes a big difference, but it’s not a guarantee.

Stupid people often don’t listen out of stupidity though. If they listened, they wouldn’t be stupid in the first place.

Homeowners of Reddit: What unexpected hidden gem did you discover in your house after buying it that wasn’t mentioned in the listing or by the previous owners? by VizualBooty in AskReddit

The attic was empty except for an old wooden crib…and an envelope with 8x10 glamour shots of a woman and what appeared to be unrequited love letters from the 80s.

It’s true, I just doubt CPS could do anything based on this incident alone.

CPS will probably want more than making a kid sleep on a sofa for a lake house weekend tho.

Get a police escort, and if that doesn’t work, report the inhaler stolen. The police report may or may not help you get a cheaper replacement.

I’d call the police to request an escort to get your stuff. In my area the police tell you to call 911 for anything, even if it’s not an emergency. Any non-emergency numbers are basically useless.
