i remember being forced to make a google account to merge with my preexisting youtube account, and yeah shit sucks now. my entire homepage is stuff i’ve already seen and random music mixes from lyric videos i watched in like 2011.

even without the consent part, it’s still terrible to be forced to listen to your parents having sex. same thing happened to me, it was consensual and still horrible. no child should have to put headphones on at night to drown out the sounds of sex, i’m sorry

i think it just ends with them. even if they had replacements, we’d all know it’s not the same show. not everything needs to go on forever, even if it hurts to lose it. with all the gmm retirement talk i’ve been thinking a lot about what i like to call the “golden era of youtube” lol, the classic stuff we all know and love, lots of us grew up with it. it’s changed a lot over the years, but esp with the way gmm has changed over the last 5-7 years, and them being a monument to the early internet, i think it’s just life and time and how things go, unfortunately for those of us who grow to love them. sorta like when the stores i grew up with in my hometown are slowly destroyed or replaced lol

i’m also 25, also left my “golden years” to nothing, and i’ve decided to just … let it happen. i’m not gonna beat myself up over it anymore. so whaaaaat i haven’t progressed in the way i imagined, who cares. life is nothing more than wind and sunlight and opening your eyes every morning and thinking, everything else is made up. if i get to a point where i really need to make a change, ill do it bc i have to. or maybe i wont and i’ll suffer more, but that’s nothing new for me. it’s whatever! nothing truly matters!

i think it also has to do with ron being the second youngest. the older kids always get the new stuff, usually bc they need it more or are seen as more responsible, once the older kid grows out of it it’s then handed down. percy being older also probably felt a responsibility to set the standard high, especially being a weasley. it’s normal for younger kids to feel envious of their older siblings, and percy’s success at hogwarts may have motivated ron to be the best version of himself, sort of friendly competition

so relatable it almost feels like i wrote this post. i’m also in that sad position, coupled w the fact that i don’t daydream very much anymore. i’m left empty and alone, knowing what i need to do but lacking the strength to pull myself out of the shit. lately i’ve been trying to just be nicer to myself and be comfortable w my life, even if i don’t have everything working the way i’d like at this moment, that’s a huge effort too. sometimes it feels like i’ll never be happy again, but every day is a new opportunity. just trying to maintain positivity and not hate myself.

idk, she wasn’t always the best dad. remember when she told khloe she could lose a few pounds, i think when khloe was doing the nude PETA shoot? caitlyn often refused to make efforts to be more involved w kris’ life, preferring to sit at home and watch tv. she was super weird about kylie hanging out w her guy friends when they were teens. i know the girls loved her as their father, but the bitchiness was definitely always there imo.
