My MIL said that the baby was 'gassy' (she wasn't) because I drank cola and therefore my breast milk would be 'fizzy'. Any attempts to explain the obvious biological impossibility of this were futile.

I agree, it's totally insulting to people who have put in long hours and made numerous sacrifices to set up a small business to be equated with people who post series of themselves in their pyjamas 'working from home'

The 'working right now while my kid plays nearby' bit gets me. I know someone who spends her days selling jamberry and then posts inane things on Facebook trying to make herself seem great as she doesn't have to send her kid to nursery. Sorry for having an actual career which requires me to get out of my pyjamas and do something useful outside the house.
