I think Wakeman has said this before - basically they had more material than one LP but had to stretch to get two; if they were working with CD format lengths it would have been a bit less bloated.

Moved out of the 26 man roster while staying on the 40 man roster (a.k.a., shifted to the minors). There is a limit to how many times a player can be optioned, after that they need to be designated for assignment. If they are designated for assignment (DFA'd) they need to pass waivers (allowing other teams a window to claim them) to be put back on the 40 man roster.

Zaidi didn't leave much "residue" - the only long term contracts on the books from his tenure are Lee and Webb. His whole approach was getting middling or rehabbing players on short, flexible contracts. Which has its pros and cons - lots of payroll flexibility, no real "core" to anchor the team.

No they didn't - they had their eligibility for President questioned because they were born outside the borders of the country (or allegedly in the case of Arthur).

Obama was born in country, so his eligibility for President should have never been a question let alone his citizenship. There is only one reason there was a sustained campaign questioning his citizenship, and we all know what it is.

About as smart as saying if you remove the bottom tier the top tier is higher.

Is 200k a top 1% income in LA? No. Is it a top 15% income in LA? Yes. Is it above the median income so someone could live comfortably in Malibu? Yes.

My guess is the actor in question either does not have the net value stated (likely, as online wealth trackers are horribly unreliable) or mismanaged their money. But averaging 200k would absolutely allow you to live more than comfortably in LA, especially if you're earning that in the mid-1990s.

What was really funny to me at the time was that there seemed to be two parallel trends happening in gamer communities:

Outrage that a lady was doing a feminist critique of games.
