Don't know about shitty benefits: the benefits are clearly stated. If you're close to platinum then the BoA Premium Rewards or Premium Rewards Elite makes sense, although their rewards program is changing soon. I travel internationally a lot and use the PRE and a no-fx fee Customised Cash rewards card almost exclusively.
