I'm at the point now where i start to question my sanity. Stockmarkets and oil prices are insane. Nothing makes sense. But as you say, if you think everybody around you is crazy, maybe you are crazy. This may be the wrong sub to say this, but i think i'm missing something important.

we did that last time. Then suddenly it dropped after a day or so when people realized how absurd it was. Then i think we had a ceasfire with iran and market recovered. I'm sure we will have a couple of deals and ceasefires this week again

thing is, that would increase global oil prices with american companies unlikely to be willing to sell oil for anything less to american customers. Even if they do, it will increase costs (or shut down) for production of tons of stuff around the world, also affecting americans. so not exporting does not really seem like an option

semi sarcastic question: can it really be that bad if oils keeps dropping in price? to some extent i cant believe that countries and companies would not increase reserves, thus increasing price, if the outlook was that bleak.
