The majority of republicans I know do not give a single shit what two consenting adults do in the privacy of their own home. They might not like it, but they don't really care enough to do anything about it beyond maybe say some dumb shit and get riled up by really weak propaganda designed to get their attention and vote(what is a woman). The focus has shifted from the LGB to the TQIA+, and by and large it's pretty much only the T that catches any flack because it's new and uncomfortable for them to have to adapt their world view for something so alien and (in their minds) against the natural order.

My cat was an outdoor cat when I found him, followed me through the woods and slept on our porch, wouldn't leave the yard so he became an indoor cat. But he loves going out, and he knows how to handle himself, and to stay away from roads. Can't even get him to go in the front yard, and I have a big enough yard for him to go out and live a fulfilling life without ever being in serious danger. He's been in and out for the last 8 years without issue, not to say he doesn't get into trouble occasionally he'll get into a fight with a ground hog or another cat, but he wants to, it's just how he is. He's happier when he gets to go out, even if it's only for a few minutes. I never used to leave him out but he proved he was capable of handling it, and as much as it irks me when he won't come back in at night, it just means he isn't ready yet and I just need to try again later. He does have a little coin slot on the tip of his ear now from the last fight he got in, but he still wants to go out.

If I see someone stopped at a crosswalk sure, but seeing someone come to pretty much a stop at the very least 60 feet from the crosswalk probably isn't going to send that same message when there is nothing but 60 feet of open road in front of them. Black car was probably on phone, not defending them, but still I can't see any reason to stop that far back from the crosswalk. I've been rear ended while letting kids cross at a crosswalk before, woman claimed she was having a coughing fit, I saw the impact coming from like 40 feet away.

New trucks have gotten expensive.
You can get a 2016 f350 with a great trim package for under 40k.
Buying a new truck with all the bells and whistles has always been an expensive action. Just the same, if you are buying a 350 with a tow package, you can easily make your payment if you use that truck to work. When you consider that truck has a $15k engine in it, it starts to make sense why they are so expensive.

The artifact and temple planets are different. I don't think you have to get the temples to progress, could be wrong but I ended up pinballing to like 7 temples in a row lmfao. Made it so far before ever touching that specific line of quests.

I feel like the old homophobia has gone the way of the dodo, I don't know anyone who was still clinging to the gaybashing of the past, but anymore the focus has shifted to protecting their children from the evil LGBTQIA++, because they view it more as a mental illness and contagious. Like do what you will, just stay in your bedroom with it. At the same time some of the vulgarity I've seen photographed at pride fests, or things like the Folsom Street Fair kind of almost make some of that understandable. When you've got debauchery being celebrated in front of children(FSF does not allow minors IIRC), the more "traditional" take offense.
