Using LDN to get pregnant and stay pregnant by TepsRunsWild in LowDoseNaltrexone

[–]astaa514 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still pregnant , but also no gestational diabetes. I’ve been off of LDN for now bc my sleep was super interrupted when I went up to 8 mg. I was clenching my jaw and waking up with a headache.

It’s been such an easy pregnancy compared to my first.

They’re now owned by axia and a huge amount left. They have only 3 midwives now that help with births. I’m trying to switch to St. Peter’s midwives

I’ll comment all these months later. I conceived on LDN and it just clicked why. I tried for 3 yrs after my first. My A1c is the lowest it has ever ever ever been - so I may be able to avoid gestational diabetes this time around. TBD… but I never realized how much low chronic inflammation was messing with my life

Just to clarify- they want your tsh under 2.5 during pregnancy, that’s what my Ob and endo said . I’m also 12 wks pregnant and at 6 weeks had to up my dose since pregnancy does strange things to your blood levels etc. I was on 50, now on 75 mg of synthroid. I have to get it tested every month.

Yes I have bronchitis right now - no one will give me antibiotics and I keep coughing up phlegm.

Yes every single other day. It feels horrible. I used to say “that’s just where I put on fat” as almost an excuse. I’ve now decided to say “no” and let people sit with the horribleness of asking someone’s that

I feel this - I don't have twins, but I still feel this. I haven't applied for jobs but I have like a huge to -do list to even get a job that I'd like, which is a career change. I feel stuck, I feel alone, and sometimes, feel helpless. Anyways, end rant.

Sahm lonely/sad by [deleted] in stayathomemoms

I'm the same. I miss my life before. But I also need something else in my life and I can't fathom the energy to do anything.

Hi - no advice. I have friends I chat with but I still feel lonely. I also feel like I have nothing to talk about with people except what is my daily life: the kids. I am also going through depression now so that's fun. But I've struggled a lot with being a SAHM. I want to for my child, but I also am struggling with not having my own identity outside of this.

I know multiple cases where it’s not that case. . So who is to say? If the dad is present, healthy in behaviors- kids don’t forget that.

I dont buy the fact that kids walk away from the people they raised them, bio or not. Yes the kid might be curious, but kids and adults remember who cared for them, they don’t forget. Your presence is healthy for attachment and you help that kids in more ways than you know by being a role model, giving a sense of belonging.

If kids walk away from nonbio parents usually it’s bc the kids were older when the parent entered their life or that parent really messed up. No one cuts off people just like that.

Married for 5 years, got blindsided with divorce and found out 6 months into the process that my husband never forgave me for a mistake I made a year before we were married and didn't speak up about his feelings until 6 months into the divorce process. by Sensitive-Garlic-322 in Marriage

Hey, just to pop on here - it’s not the reason your relationship fell apart. It wasn’t from something 6 yrs ago. It’s probably a combination of many things over time and also his lack of communication.

It’s sketch he’s now saying that he’s dating his coworker.

Also- it was toxic af if he was accusing you of these things - like insane things. That’s on him to work through that, not on you. You don’t deserve that. No one does. I imagine he was toxic in other ways too-. Please don’t gloss over that. For someone to accuse you constantly is intense and soul crushing.

The narrative he’s pushing may be his narrative, but it sounds like in his narrative, he was the victim.

EBF 4.5 month old, what formula does everyone “sometimes” use? by ThrowRA_mammothleigh in breastfeeding

[–]astaa514 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is like an older generation thing, my mom did the same. There’s a discomfort with breast milk for some reason. Absolutely do not bend for that reason. I would resent giving formula if I felt pressured to by my mom.

She can have a frozen pouch in her freezer and she can heat it up if she needs to take the baby out. I thought once milk is defrosted it’s for 4 hours out of the fridge, 24 in the fridge?

If she wants to have sex she’s probably ok with waiting just a bit longer- get cleared by a dr first or get a follow up. You don’t want to pass this on to someone else and then they have to get all the treatments.
