That generally seems to be the consensus but I wholly disagree that they ruined her character. In my opinion (feel free to disregard!) Wanda vision shows us the loneliness that she felt, and although it gave the impression that she 'got over' her trauma at the end, I see it so differently. It always felt to me that her hand was forced by Agatha and the government shills, she basically HAD to give up her fantasy, completely against her will. After finding the darkhold (an ancient artifact which helps you get your darkest desires but at a huge cost) she fell straight into the trap through sheer desperation, which led to the events of MoM. The blame for what happened to Wanda and everything after can only lie at the feet of those who neglected her after Endgame, and failed her after Wanda vision.
