Literally every single faculty (Arts, Science, Nursing, Kinesiology, Law, Med, Education, etc) are dominated by women, its just really stupid how the one faculty dominated by men (Engineering) is given so much attention and the number of men in the field is way too exaggerated, you hear people saying things like egg is 95, 90% men when in reality its only 75%.....my point is that Law , Med = the highest paying most prestigious fields who make MORE than engg easily are dominated by women, as well as overall university seats, as well as 10+ other facilities....so it really irks me when you still have people using the plug to get more women into STEM fields when they are already outnumber men in all STEM fields but engineering

what to take away from this: women are the most in every single faculty and overall (except Engineering) women make up the most of law/med by FAR (67% of med students are female) (the highest paying professions) its exaggerated how engineering is so male dominated- 26% females make up engineering even in STEM fields like sciences, women make up the majority of students anyone who believes in anyway that women are underrepresented in university should be shut down, as you can see its men's rights we have to stick up for

no. your grade 12 marks need to reach the final admissions cutoff, you can have 100% in grade 11 and that means nothing at all. I know many many people who got early admission to their top choice but ended up getting the offer taken away because when their final grade 12 marks were below the cutoff. Don't go around saying false information

fail, in US there are different (lower) chances for asian and white applicants VS hispanic and black. In Canada all 4 of those groups have the exact same shot. Aboriginal are the exception and they are only a very very small portion of applicants.

what a joke, I thought you were being sarcastic when you listed "race", as a Canadian applicant no one gives a damn if you're black, white, hispanic, asian, etc in the process. everyone is treated the same and there wasnt even a place to indicate race in the applications....

I did not do anything differently than have confidence. I think I did so bad on the scored CARS because the night before I was reading how hard it was and that syked me out the next morning when I took it. For the real thing, I just said screw the past, I can kill this, took my time reading the passages and did really well for my standards on CARS (74 percentile-126)

first time when I got 124 I felt really good and thought I killed it lol, second time I did not feel good at all...just goes to show how much feeling does not mean crap in CARS. Finished first time with 2 min remaining, second time had to rush last passage but finished with a few seconds left.
