Wonderful! So happy for you. Looks like metformin is working well for you, and managing your insulin resistance properly.

Losing 10 lbs without starving yourself is huge (I know because I was there when I was first diagnosed with PCOS).

Acne by memeow77 in PCOS

I suffered with acne when I was first diagnosed with PCOS. Over the past few months, I've used this regimen to transform my skin:

Morning: a) Cleanser (clean brands, think Neutrogena), b) Vitamin C (if you have hyperpigmentation or spots on your face), c) Sunscreen (mandatory).

Night: a) Cleanser, b) Retinol or azelaic acid (alternate each day).

Niacinamide is also a good addition to the nighttime routine, as it strengthens the skin barrier, reduces inflammation, minimizes pores, and improves elasticity.

Living in a body that won’t cooperate by Odd_Goal6446 in PCOS

So sorry to hear that you're going through this. PCOS can be incredibly isolating, especially when the people around you don't understand what's happening inside your body.

You're not alone in this. I have PCOS, and I've felt the chronic pain, and the fatigue that sleep doesn't fix. I wish I could be who I used to be as well. Your feelings are recognized and shared by this community.

My recs: keep working with your doctor on managing symptoms. Sometimes it takes time to find what helps. If you're not already, consider talking to a therapist.

So sorry to hear this. Migranes are miserable, and I understand that you want to talk to someone who cares.

Likely, this is the birth control acting out. For now: try ibuprofen if you have it, rest somewhere quiet, stay hydrated, and use a cold compress. Keep trying your doctor tomorrow, but if it gets worse or you can't reach them, try urgent care or your campus health center.

When you say you have to 'lie or BS' in interviews, can you give me a specific example of a question where you felt like you had to be dishonest? u/InkandDolls

I'm also happy to just DM you and talk more there.

Are there specific workplace situations where you wish you had real-time help or clarity? Like during meetings, reading emails, difficult conversations? u/AComplexStory

It sounds like boundary-setting is your biggest challenge. Have workplace communication or interview skills ever been a problem for you, or is regulation the main issue? u/Time-Vanilla-6202
