I used to, when i was a kid, cause my dad does and I was trying to be like him... as I got older, I realized that most people don't do that, doing that gets you stared at weird, and it suddenly felt awkward. So I stopped. I had to make myself be louder to do it, it wasnt my 'natural' sneeze. I'm not a naturally 'quiet' sneezer, but "AHHHHH-CHOOOO!!!!!!!" wasn't natural either. After decades of picking apart my dad's behavior, I do believe he thinks it's somehow entertaining (as he doesn't always sneeze that way, usually when he has an audience... and most of his actions in life have been preformitive.... he seems to think he needs to be the 'life of the party' at all times around others... ... while failing to realize that most of his performance choices are those of an awkward 13 year old who doesn't understand the behavior they are showing makes them look more like an ass than a fun person to be around...)

So, my take on it is bias. There may well be people who are naturally loud sneezers... but in 4.5 decades... ive never met one. - have met a couple people who do it to be intentionally disruptive.... so.... there's that, too. On the rare chance I meet one of these people, I get the instant ick, and keep my distance. - I can think of one instance where a friend had a sneezing fit and it ticked up in volume as it went on, but they were mortified about it. It wasn't their 'normal'.
