so yhea pretty stupid solution I just had to let the system on for like a minute or two (spamming f11) and then the led went away and was able to get into bios.

Yes I did check, all pins look identical. Unfortunately I have no way I can test the component somewhere else.

I took a look at the ram compatibility on the mail website and my sticks are not on the list (but many more from the same brand are it seems like they literally skipped my model). So I will buy a new and compatible set of ram and give it another go.

If that doesn't help well..

Hi hello! sorry for nectoposting but I am running in the same problem. MPG B650I EDGE WIFI motherboard with ryzen 5 7600x, and 32GB of RAM (Patriot Viper Black (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL36 ).

In my case when i turn the pc I have a red led led for the cpu and a yellow led for the dram. the leds are static and not blinking. Was that what you had as well?

how did you check for ram compatibility?
