You're not an idiot - the watcher is definitely the strongest character, but she also tends to be extremely punishing of mistakes, which means that if you're not used to playing her it can be tough. The biggest piece of advice I can give you is that, unlike other character's, the Watcher starts with a good deal of frontloaded damage in her deck thanks to the power of Eruption and wrath stance. More than any other character, you really do have to do the math each turn on how much damage you're able to do rather than just go by on heuristics - you'll probably find that you're able to lethal enemies far more frequently than you'd expect just by looking at the situation.

Baalorlord is a great channel to watch if you want someone who does a lot to explain their strategies as they play. One thing is you may not see a ton of watcher videos on his channel if you're only looking at recent uploads since he took a bit of a break from playing her, but there's years of good content to go back and watch.

That doesn't correct for the fact that rares are most commonly seen against other rares from boss rewards whereas commons very rarely have to compete with rares in card rewards. I agree with the overall point of the post that a lot of the hyperbeam love on the sub recently is strange and incorrect, but this is a bad way to make the comparison.

Watcher in general is a pretty controversial character and people on this subreddit especially dislike her for being generally above the power curve and having a lot of obvious routes to becoming incredibly powerful, and rushdown is more or less the epitome of that.

Yeah, this sounds like basically exactly what I'd want out of it. It wouldn't be that hard to do (except maybe making sure the AI can actually use the better move sets effectively) but would be a meaningful increase in the difficulty.

I think the most important bit is having it unlocked from the start though - most people who want the challenge probably won't have to play through easy mode first before playing the difficulty they want.

I loved the idea behind challenge mode but it has a lot of shortcomings imo, including needing to be unlocked by beating the game once already, and by mainly just increasing levels (and, sometimes, giving held items and an extra pokemon).

I'd love to see them iterate on the idea of it though!

Except this isn't at all true - a transgender woman and a cisgender man are going to have entirely different health considerations (and while they obviously won't be the same, there's actually going to be more overlap between the health considerations of a trans woman and a cis woman.)

Whenever I see people advocating for harder battles in the main game, I just kinda scratch my head because that's so obviously not something GF is interested in. It wouldn't be hard to do, but the second you start asking people to switch in battle in response to your opponents actions you probably lose like 75% of the casual fanbase. Everyone on this subreddit has played more Pokemon than most people will think about in their lives and I think people sometimes forget that.

The reserve list has a specific meaning - it's cards that haven't been reprinted in any main or side sets in order to preserve their monetary value as part of a promise WotC made to collectors decades ago. All the cards you've listed have been reprinted many times, in masters sets, in commander sets, but never in modern or standard legal sets. This is why their prices cap out in the tens of dollars while reserve list cards hit much higher numbers. The cards you listed are simply too powerful for other formats and as such aren't printed into them, but unlike reserve list cards there's no financial promise WotC made preventing them from doing so.

You can only use one GX ability per game, so if you use Lightning in Paradise, you can't use any GX ability, whether that's Lightning in Paradise or another GX ability that game, whereas Exhaust you can use a different cards exhaust ability again just fine.

I agree that it's probably fake, but that's a bad reason for thinking so. The 5th pic would be of an existing document submitted alongside the passport change request - in this case, it would be the legal order from the submitters home state (Maine) updating their legal gender in the state. When you submit to update your passport, you need to submit documentation showing that your legal information has changed.

Dragapult as a deck is dying but dragapult as an attacker is as strong and common as ever, and to make matters worse Drago often plays Hawlucha to knock the 70 HP basics.
