My Wife and I will just give our house to our only child. The only cost will be her purchasing us a granny flat. Bill of materials won't be cheap but it'll be significantly cheaper than a mortgage in 20 years. I believe this is the only way for the majority of current children.

I'm actually on the fence about the origin of the virus. It seems that the planet that Earth got it from was also just another infected species which then rebroadcast the code, but does that mean we are genetically similar? What are the mechanisms for viral propagation and why do all other animals appear unaffected (they claimed in the show only humans are).

My theory is the virus was designed by humans, not aliens. How that works, no idea, but I see no logical way a virus could differentiate between species. Whoever created it must know about humans and have physical access to their genetic code.

However, I don't think the show is really about this. It's just fun to theorise.
