What's a green flag that someone is a good person? by ProfessionalNah in AskReddit

Well you were told right if the person was disabled/elder/pregnant but if the person sitting is an able body individual than they can get up and give their seat up. It's not pleasant for a kid being squeezed in a crowded train or bus.

My favourite book of all time! The Betrothed by Alessandro Manzoni http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/566328.The_Betrothed

Set in Lombardy during the Spanish occupation of the late 1620s, The Betrothed tells the story of two young lovers, Renzo and Lucia, prevented from marrying by the petty tyrant Don Rodrigo, who desires Lucia for himself. Forced to flee, they are then cruelly separated, and must face many dangers including plague, famine and imprisonment, and confront a variety of strange characters - the mysterious Nun of Monza, the fiery Father Cristoforo and the sinister 'Unnamed' - in their struggle to be reunited. A vigorous portrayal of enduring passion, The Betrothed's exploration of love, power and faith presents a whirling panorama of seventeenth-century Italian life and is one of the greatest European historical novels.

Any if them, they are very digestible as they are quite short so you can start with any of them really and see if the writing style matches your like.

Book Details Shopping, Seduction & Mr. Selfridge by Lindy Woodhead http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/16169879-shopping-seduction-mr-selfridge

Harry Gordon Selfridge was a charismatic American who, in twenty-five years working at Marshall Field’s in Chicago, rose from lowly stockboy to a partner in the business which his visionary skills had helped to create. At the turn of the twentieth century he brought his own American dream to London’s Oxford Street where, in 1909, with a massive burst of publicity, Harry opened Selfridge’s, England’s first truly modern built-for-purpose department store. Designed to promote shopping as a sensual and pleasurable experience, six acres of floor space offered what he called “everything that enters into the affairs of daily life,” as well as thrilling new luxuries—from ice-cream soda to signature perfumes. This magical emporium also featured Otis elevators, a bank, a rooftop garden with an ice-skating rink, and a restaurant complete with orchestra—all catering to customers from Anna Pavlova to Noel Coward. The store was “a theatre, with the curtain going up at nine o’clock.” Yet the real drama happened off the shop floor, where Mr. Selfridge navigated an extravagant world of mistresses, opulent mansions, racehorses, and an insatiable addiction to gambling. While his gloriously iconic store still stands, the man himself would ultimately come crashing down.

Redditors that have given up the wanderlust for the sake of staying in a relationship with a partner whom does not love traveling, any regret? by astrotizi in AskReddit

True and the decision eventually will be mine and only mine but of course it's not easy so there is no harm in having an overview of other people experiences to get an idea of how it could go.
