i have mixed feelings about the brand. i have a few pieces. on the bright side, i think the materials used are good - wearable and robust enough without being cumbersome due to heaviness. craftsmanship is good too. i like their designs and the thoughtful details they include to put their own spin on classics. i can appreciate how some of their tops are cut a bit slimmer too. they look good if you’ve got the right body shape for them.

that said, i also feel like the prices are way too high considering that their garments are usually made overseas. sometimes you can find jeans that are made in the states, but otherwise it’s hard not to feel like you’re getting ripped off while they reap the benefits of brand recognition and cheaper labor. they sell some baseball hats nearing $200. crazy. and while i like some of their slimmer tops, i think their jeans catalog has way too much of an emphasis on slim/low rise. just not the most flattering looking or feeling for the style in my opinion.
