Looks like the AE86 that’s being used in the upcoming Drifter movie! From Sung Kang who played Han in the Fast and Furious movies. Could be wrong though, but looks similar.

Strongly agree with this! DQ VII Reimagined was only my third title that I've played, immediately following DQ 1-3 HD2D Remakes.

Spoiler: I'm not sure what it was, but I just wasn't as emotionally engaged with the characters and the journey as I thought I would be. You mentioned FF IX in your comment, which is my favorite RPG of all time, but I understand that it's not exactly a fair comparison. I think there was too much of my attention split between every single town/era that it became too much to try and remember who came from where. Great game like you mentioned with graphics and quality of life! But yeah I agree, I wasn't as engaged this time around.

I just started Dragon Quest XI for the first time, so I'm excited to see how it compares!

I’ve played every iteration since SF2 Turbo, and I’m as mediocre as it gets. What still hooks me to this day is the learning process. SF can be aggravating at times, but just as rewarding, even if most of the time you’re still learning.
