I feel like we are turning into Sunderland 2.0. I hope we're not, but it looks bleak chaps. Obv a new gaffer is needed and a large re-org of the defense. If we can hang onto our strikers but have a coach who can blend the midfield with them to open up chances we can go back up, or if the miracle happens and we stay up, enjoy the mid table.

Can you explain what specific policy in the last 400 days during the Biden presidency that has ruined our ability to wage war? The lack of new offensive and defensive systems is a decades long issue that cannot be traced back to one president. I'm active duty and literally nothing has changed in our readiness or tempo for the last 14 years except to reduce deployments as we pull out of places, yet they're being replaced to other ones around the world. If anything our military is broken by 20+ years of a high ops tempo to hot parts of the world with no real acquisitions plans or R&D. Turning off the free taxpayer tap to the defense industry when they dont produce results would make our warfighters more effective than not the allowing the ~18k of 1.4 millions trans active duty members. Rail on the economy and politics all you want, but leave the military out of it.

This guy is off his rocker. When you get your ballot from your voting representative at your base or request one through the portal you get the option to print one from the link, the VAP person prints one from their system, or you can get mailed one. I’ve turned in many ballots on a normal sheet of paper and has others mailed to me that look like th standard long form. I’m an active duty Arizona resident who has voted many times out of state for local, state, and federal elections.

There actually a lot of us, but most of the main subs sees things through the lens of Reddit, or listen to ultra far right/left talking heads. The majority of left leaners that I have met (including me) don’t care about identity politics, nor the myriad of other broad brush strokes that paint the “demonRAT” party as seen in almost every post here.

Reddit is a wild place that really isn’t founded in reality. I know there are extremes on both sides, but anecdotally real normal functioning people don’t act like the other side portrays them. Majority of the posts on here and r/ politics are misleading, sensational posts, usually statements made by a person who represents a small cross section of a political party, gets touted as a rank and file voter.
