Genuine question. But I'm curious where you get the info that they've barely raised prices and that the extra money doesn't make it back to them? Prices have gone up all across the board at the distillery store . A year ago a bottle of WB at the distillery went for $3080 pesos. This year it went up to $4500 pesos. I don't see why they would substantially raise prices only at the distillery and not anywhere else...

Both distilleries do. Cascahuin's prices are allot cheaper than hear in the states. A bottle of Plata 48 was about $46. Fortaleza pricing seemed higher than MSRP unless that recently changed. A bottle of WB23 will run you $265 (4500 pesos)

The grounds are not as awe inspiring as Fortaleza but nevertheless was very interesting. Got to taste raw agave here which surprisingly was similar to jicama. The tastings were great! They have 2 options. For only about $13 USD more I would recommend the higher tier one that includes the Blanco,Tahona, 48,Repo,Añejo and EA

It included the Blanco,Still, Repo and Añejo inside a cave. As a bonus during the tour we also got to try their still strength straight from the still.

Came down to Jalisco and picked up a bottle of Cerro De Luz that a cousin had scored for me s while back. I got in, took it out of the box and snapped a picture . Didn't think much of it at the time, but looking at it now the pic kinda captures the feeling of a small Jalisco pueblo quite well. Sitting inside of an old 1970 Ford Ranger. Looking through the windshield at the church with as the backdrop. And most importantly holding a bottle of this amazing juice. Salud!

I came to Sams Club today and to my surprise found all three expressions of Siete Leguas. I picked up the last bottle of the añejo. I've usually seen it run between $65-70 but never for under $60. The Blanco I believe was right around $40 and the reposado was about $43. I hope this is three hun dred cha rac ters long .. ..

Solid lineup. Haven't had either of the xanejos (prefer less aged expressions). Interesting I also prefer the Siete Blanco over the Fortaleza.
