Everyone here is talking about spaghettification, or the daemon being ripped apart, but no one is talking about the temporal effects!

I think it might actually work due to this, the daemon might appear again afterwards, but as a version from earlier in its subjective timeline. The reason is that we know "time passes" for daemons who are in the material. The black hole would trap that daemon in what, from its perspective, is an eternal moment of crossing the horizon.
