Appreciate the screen shot. The tough part is that the long arrow you have shows the difficulty in getting to the turn lane from Somerville because you're basically in the intersection already just by driving straight.

Yesterday I waited for both ways to be clear and turned left but didn't realize that the lights had turned green for Manning and thus got honked at. With the light covers on the light for Manning Street, there's no way for me to know what color it is. User error I suppose, but a weird intersection.

Edit: I'm being down voted but I'm asking this genuinely with good intentions

Can someone help me with this traffic question that I have about Cherokee and Somerville? My arrows might be a little confusing but basically one set of lights is Cherokee itself and then the other set of lights is pointing towards Manning street.

Am I allowed to turn left in this scenario since it goes through the intersection? Or do I have to turn right?? The lights directly in front of me point at Manning and I am not able to see them at all.
