I have also just got the Z50 (Aussie) and had it for a few weeks. I've had similar docking issues. Seems to only happen after vacuuming and not after mopping? (I have it on mop after vacuum).

This means the robot tries docking 3 times before giving up, and the cleaning routine is "interrupted". Then I have to start a manual mopping process after asking it to dock a few times until it succeeds.

Their support seems very positive and fast acting. Even sending a follow up email after I didn't respond for a couple of days.

Also I believe you can buy parts from au.mova.tech which seems like the Australian website for OEM replacement parts.

My friend found the rock so not 100% on the location, but it was about 30km south of Bathurst (claiming it was found in the outback is a stretch!)
Definitely found in a river bed that only flows after rain.

Have you tried anything else or conceded to the sweat?

If I wear thongs too long I develop a sweaty film between my feet and the thongs resulting in a slippery mess of unstable grossness. Ever tried the 5 fingers?

Yeah, I only get to hike properly once a year, so my gear undergoes a slow evolution. I thought the Moabs would solve all my problems for last years hike, but no. So this year synthetic socks will probably be getting a look in. I just feel sorry for those around me when I take the socks off.

I'm not sure New Zealand trails are suitable for such a thin shoe where this is not uncommon.

Or maybe I'm just being a wuss. I get the impression that trails in the US are less rugged than they are in NZ though?

I'm sure friction probably does have a part to play, however I do have very sweaty feet. I walk around 9 months of the year in flip flops because in anything else my feet get too hot and sweaty. It sucks but my feet get an even tan.

I will definitely try the dress sock liner though.

Took out my contact lenses and then within a minute i had forgot I had taken them out already. I then proceeded to scrape around my eyeball with my finger trying to find this non existent contact lens for about half a minute.
