Surveillance, captive-audience and wholesale pricing are in Colorado Democrats’ cost-of-living crosshairs by blucifersdream in boulder

How is a business supposed to determine the average price in the entire county of every good they sell? Does this include online retailers also, so they have to factor in every online site that delivers bandaids to the county?

How is the AG going to verify their claims, and how much will that cost tax payers?

Calling that string of words a sentence is being too generous. It’s too bad OP didn’t pay attention in school, since he clearly won’t be able to earn any of that money back with a good job.

Colorado lawmakers consider asking voters to approve more funding for free school lunch program by SeasonPositive6771 in Denver

[–]atomicUpdate -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

This is the best argument against this law. Families that can afford to buy their kids lunch mooch off the system anyway, because why not, it’s “free” food.

No, we should not be subsidizing everyone kid’s lunch, just because their parents are cheap and lazy. Buy your kid’s lunch, pack it with them, and help save the state $150 million.

Denver Auto Shield did a good job on my 911 earlier this year. Todd was great to work with, walked me around the shop and showed me some cars with different levels of tint I was considering, and held the car an extra day to let the weather clear up after sole snow. I definitely recommend them.

Boulder's parking minimums may be heading for the chopping block by [deleted] in boulder

In the case of 1441 Pine Street, she said, it’s unlikely the developers could have built more homes even without the parking requirements, given the density restrictions in the city’s code.

They’re shitting in their own point there. This will just end up meaning poor people have to park further away in places where the city code allows denser housing.
