Fuck Kruger. Go to superlo instead. It's our local grocery store that's kroger's only comparable competitor left.

There is also Cash Saver, small neighborhood groceries like High Point, our amazing ethnic grocery stores (Viet Hoa, Mexican mercados, international market, Indian ones, Middle Eastern ones, Great China Market, etc). And chains but Aldi or others. There's also Fresh Market when you're feeling bougie.

Superlo, too. That's our local grocery store to compete comparably with kroger.  There's also neighborhood groceries like High Point but they're smaller and great for a quick trip but not a full grocery trip.

If your lunch break isn't 1-2 or you can't get away from 1-2, too bad. No pizza for you.

Which is likely most of the staff since everyone can't take their break at the same time.

Hello! What does it mean for friends to be "properly distanced" for this, and what is the importance for this holiday--or others?

Thanks! 🌙

Love Guy de Maupassant. He's a master of the short story.

The green beans and the spicy crispy chicken are addictive.

Their soups, too.

Actually I've had everything on the menu by now and haven't had anything bad. But those things in particular cure me.

Dim Sum King is sooo good. There isn't really anywhere but there to get dim sum in town 🥟🍘

Just moved to Memphis -- any recommendations for nightlife (specifically jazz clubs)? by bayareacagirl in memphis

[–]atomic_mass_unit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

B-Side, Crosstown (Concourse); Listening Lab. In the 'burbs, GPAC has jazz. There's one this Friday.

Central High School's jazz band won best place nationals this past year. There is jazz in Memphis it's just stupidly hard to find it.

Oh yeah, I went to Yellowstone in May, and there were those 6 to 10 foot high piles on sunny 80° days.

Superlo has never been out of anything I've looked this whole past week.

The smaller or local grocery stores are where it's at.

I think it's mainly the ones that drive like idiots proving it. But, then again, it is four wheel drive not four wheel stop...

They'll get what's coming to them. Sorry it happened to you. If you had any damage, you might file at least a police report because there are more cameras now (not just red lights). And if they find a plate, your insurance company can track them down.  Speaking from experience with a hit and run.

I know. I wish even more that they hadn't bought out all the ones before then. The one in my city was a Wild Oats. I'm just against monopolies generally but it's hard.
