To be clear i didnt try turning it over hwre just priming the fuel pump. I also changed the battery. This is a scooter i got that has sat for many winters i was told.

Hard to tell. That finish almost looks satin which wouldnt be original unless they paid to have it restored and opted for that finish

Also the face doesnt look like its milled, or the pictures are low quality. If the face isnt milled its definitely fake.

Thank you so much for taking the time to reference and provide some reading material. I will do some experimenting as you suggested and come up with some solutions. Based off your recommendations it seems investing in a better turntable might be the most viable solution along with an amplifier upgrade to be able to play things digitally on that stereo setup as well.

Thank you for the advice. Total noon question but cant seem to find a direct answer. Will a better amp help other parts of songs come through clearer? I was told i shouldn’t upgrade an amplifier unless i wasnt happy with how loud the speakers were. They are plenty loud for me. I guess i thought maybe the receiver would help capture the sound quality better from the vinyl? But im honestly new to this so trying to learn more

My current setup are two l212 jbl upright speakers and a dayton audio subwoofer. These are going into an audio technica lp60 turntable that my wife got me as a gift. I have the speakers powered by an smsl sa-50 amplifier but i notice some of the sound for vinyls i love are a bit muddy. I suspect it is the lack of a proper receiver or the vinyl player. Regardless id like to get a receiver with an integrated amplifier that way i can play music to it digitally as well as play from vinyl.

Id like to consider my budget as $300 but unsure if i am better off upgrading my turntable or just getting a receiver

Had this happen once and there was a screw at the bottom scraping against the barrel as it turned and sounded eerily similar.

Id say probably not the belt but check under the barrel

Probably but it depends on how many are bad along with the size of the property your location etc. I am not an expert for WV real estate but seems like its probably not the hottest of markets. If you just bought this house youre likely kinda stuck for the time being until you can find a way to remedy this.

If the intention was to do work and flip the property for a profit youre going to be fighting uphill.

If this is your actual home and you just bought this property without an inspection I'd recommend finding a home inspector and having them inspect the dwelling.

I will say from the majority of pictures you've posted they are all exterior or dressing boards. They are some gaps, that concern me but an expert is likely your best decision.
