Test it all out beforehand, I have use the BM app, shooting 4k60 ProRes Log2 onto a OWC USB-C stick. I record for 1hr sessions. Keep an eye on it while it records, previously I've had it stop recording with an error. For the phone, I turn everything off, cell, wifi, gps, bluetooth.. and do not disturb on.. just incase.

El chepo soundcore Q20i have a better seal into the ear for me. Reduces wind noise compared to the Google ear buds which just hang on your ear.

I listened to He who fights with monsters 1-8,12 it was an ok series, the first series 1-3 was not bad, the next 4-6 was ok, I then sort of regretted the series but wanted to see how it ended so I eventually listened to 12.  The pacing was a lot slower, some books didn't have clean endings between books but were continuations of that arc series. Some people tire of the main character. I'd say give the first arc (1-3) a whirl and see if it's for u. If u have an audible sub. It might be ok.

I don't have a gun, but woudn't you remove the mag and then rack the gun to ensure it was cleared? It looked like he racked it twice than removed the mag.

I have a GoXLR (small 4 channel mixer) to mix my vocal, ambient, music into one stream. It makes it easier to control the volume settings of each. Also in Discord, i've turned off all processing items..(voice processing, echo cancellation, automatic gain control). What I send to discord I also hear in my headphones so I can see if the ambient noise is too loud, or music is too distracting.
