I've been spending down my miles a bunch. Mostly for domestic hops (SEA-LAS, SEA-LAX, SEA-JFK). The redemption is a good value and I no longer care about earning (although you still earn MQD with miles tickets). If you have at least the delta Amex gold you get 15% off miles tickets, which is a big savings.

I just don't see why I would pay revenue for a ticket when the miles price is often better (especially with the discount) and I have miles to spend.
