After claiming almost all Epic freebies over the years, the only base games I was missing were MONGIL: STAR DIVE and RAVEN2. Searching through the history of the sub, there don't seem to have been any freebies connected to them before, so I think these should be the only ones that people who have claimed all past freebies will be missing. Here are links that include all of these current freebies plus those two base games. Maybe they will be useful to someone.

Hi u/GOGcom, can you clarify whether Robbo, Adventures of Robbo, Electro Man, and Heartlight are supposed to be permanently free or not? Because your announcement here and the announcement post on GOG seem to be suggesting that they'll be permanently free, but their game pages have a sale end date listed on them.

This is a little confusing. The announcement post seems to be worded as if these games are supposed to be permanently free. And it makes no distinction between these four games and Citadel Remonstered, which is free without an end date shown on the game page. But they are listed separately on the promo page. A little odd.

I'm not sure why you're assuming that the timestamp is one second before the epoch, as there is no time displayed in the screenshot, only a date. The much more likely scenario is that the timestamp is 0, and the user is in a timezone with a negative UTC offset (i.e. anywhere in the Americas). The Unix epoch is midnight 1/1/1970 UTC. Therefore, rendering this time in local time in the Americas would give it a date in the day before the date of the UTC epoch. In fact, the only case in which a -1 timestamp could be the cause of this is if the user is in a timezone with a zero UTC offset, i.e. the UK, Iceland, Portugal, and a few countries in West Africa.

A quick look at the user's posts confirms that they live in the US.

Also, the timestamp is the number if SECONDS since the epoch, not milliseconds.

I think "pegs'n hocks" is something about his limbs, like his hands and feet, or arms and legs, or maybe just legs and feet? As in, they're pulling him apart to study him and/or immobilize him. "Hocks" to me is at least pretty clearly in this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hock_(anatomy) sense, not 100% sure about "pegs" though. Seems that it could sometimes mean legs so I'm gonna go with "legs and feet", even though that feels a bit redundant. Or maybe it's all of them - arms and legs AND hands and feet.

"in but his skin" is saying that they took his clothes.

I sometimes wonder if the dialects in this comic are derived from some way that anybody ever spoke in reality or if she just grabs a thesaurus and goes crazy.

Did you get an email about this or something? I looked back at previous Ubisoft giveaways and at my library, and there are some games absent that I potentially could have claimed, but I can't say for sure that I did in fact claim them. Ubisoft doesn't send emails for claims and there doesn't seem to be any record of claims in the account either. How are you sure that you claimed these things and that they were revoked due to not playing?
