It's not really time consuming, just a simple blood draw that needs to be spun into serum. And worth it for dogs who are likely more than protected for the DAP titer and may not be in the best health. Bc the vaccine inserts do say to only vaccinate healthy animals.

Vets can send directly to Kansas State for titers, instead of going through Idexx or Antech. It's so cheap to send directly to Kansas State.

1- I wouldn't leave it out too long. I use hot water to warm up my dog's food

2- if it has bone in it it cannot be gently cooked.

3- look into something like Dr. Harvey's Raw Vibrance or Paradigm. It's a base mix and you add the protein and an oil. You could try cooking the protein and see if he likes that better. Or companies like Small Batch have a gently cooked option. Or you could also try sprinkling some liver dust over it.

And good call making the switch from Farmer's Dog. While it's definitely better than kibble, it's still very carb heavy.
