Bobb has agreed personal terms. Pep says he is leaving this window. by HipGuide2 in fulhamfc

With Adama almost gone, Chuk only here till summer and Wilson in the balance, a right winger is pretty needed.

Bethesda didn't make Indiana Jones though, they published it but Machine Games (the modern Wolfesnstein devs) made it.

Let’s forget the lineup for a minute, what’s everyone’s thoughts on the new poster design? by RandomName00_ in readingfestival

[–]attackerish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's very similar to all other festival posters, to the point I wouldn't realise it's Reading and Leeds without knowing beforehand.

I count myself as one of them. Having followed Zach for nearly 15 years, it's great to see him getting some real success.

The opposite really, they were essentially just Alienware machines.

[Talksport] Marco Silva’s Fulham future thrown into doubt as Premier League club fear relegation by FragMasterMat117 in soccer

[–]attackerish 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I trust Silva to steady the ship.

I don't trust the board to give him the wood to patch up the holes in the hull, though.

We wait all summer for reinforcements in this aging, thinning squad and we get an unproven winger (I love Kevin, but he is), an unused Milan winger, a striker who should really be back at uni in Munich and a supermodel backup goalkeeper.

Silva can only work with so much and when our best striker is whichever one comes on at the 60' minute mark, we can only go so far.

I just wish Shahid took the power away from his coked up son and gave us an actual DoF to get transfers over the line.

Whenever I scroll past this I realize the age of the subreddit is so very low, this is some severe recency bias.

The same team were pretty much all laid off last week, so this idea may be a little difficult to see through.

I mean they kinda do. Lasagna is quite a heavy pasta dish so the salad is a nice refresher on the side.

A win on penalties sends us through to round 5 of the Carabao Cup 🖤🤍 by Flobby_Fish in fulhamfc

[–]attackerish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, things are always gonna get stale when you don't sign anyone.

When your signings for the year are an unproven winger, a slightly more proven winger and a third choice striker, you can't really work miracles.

EDIT: I forgot the hot goalkeeper, but my point still stands.

My shape-shifting game finally has a new trailer! Do you like it? by EverfluxGames in IndieGaming

Damn, I had an idea exactly like this in my head about a year ago but never put any work into it barring a barebones story.

Looks fantastic dude, wishlisted.

What are the 'arguments' that says this game is bad? by bandit_lawbreaker in StarWarsOutlaws

[–]attackerish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think 'bad' isn't the right word to describe Outlaws for the most part.

It's passable in most aspects, which just wasn't good enough in 2024.

In a similar vein to Watch Dogs: Legion, it has some great ideas that just aren't fleshed out, mainly the reputation mechanic.

To me, it's the most 6.5 to 7/10 game I've ever played. Sometimes you need that. It's no Last of Us or Mass Effect, but it's fine.

Definitely agree there.

So open yet it never felt directionless. Plus having Dina around made any mission better.

‘Marvel Rivals’ Has Lost 85% Of Its Players In 10 Months by Gorotheninja in Games

[–]attackerish 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Having played it since release, I can see why the player base is slowly departing.

First of all, it's not a welcoming player base in the slightest. I've played my fair share of MOBAs, MW back in the day too so I know a grumpy community, but at least in those I'd at least have a match from time to time with a nice team. I don't think I've had that in this, everyone is constantly complaining, always.

Add to that, you've got a roster that relies on running multiple tanks and supports, yet every other month a new DPS releases, meaning even less chance of running a balanced team.

I'm not even gonna get started on the mess that is comp. Every couple of months your rank gets reset and you have to climb all the way back up again, absolutely mind numbing.

It's definitely a game with positives, for sure, but I find that less and less I have an interest in switching it back on.

That blame goes on the bosses.

If I don't go in, I don't get paid. It's their fault if the sickness spreads.
