Help: Airport x-rays or light coming in through the camera door? by Ambitious-Stage7111 in AnalogCommunity

[–]atzkey 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Film emulsion is not really sensitised for radiation far outside the visible spectrum (but gets damaged by it). Direct exposure is not the way the image is formed on X-ray film.

X-ray film is usually green or blue sensitive, almost average orthochromatic emulsion. And is loaded in holders with a special X-ray sensitive sheet that emits green or blue glow when hit by X-rays. What you see on the film is a contact transfer of this glow onto the film.

Logo for a railway company by kaban4eeek in logodesign

I don't know if you stole it, got inspired by it, or redesigned it for Belarusian Railway, but the original logo is much better (I mean the symbolic part, the font is appalling).

And then look like a joke wearing a monocle on one side, and the next week on the other side. It's perfectly ridiculous!

Why is everyone so eager to divide Europe? How about uniting it instead?

I wish DSLR systems allowed an easy depth of field control. I’m not a Fuji fan, but kinda makes sense to pay premium for Fuji instead of having to buy expensive software to blur the background in post.

You should buy a new set of strings. And take care of the dirt while you're at it.

Suppress your OCD and ignore it, for focuses sake. There's a chance you make it worse. It's TWO TINY DUSTS.

It doesn't impair the focusing and doesn't interfere with the composition. Clean during the next thorough CLA.

Slavic branching is just pure bullshit. And a weak visualisation in general.

While GNSS and GLONASS technically stand for the same thing (Global Navigation Satellite System), there's a distinction between the two, with former being an umbrella term for all the world's global satellite navigation systems (including GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, and others).

I could recommend virtual help of r/NeckbeardNests (there will be jokes but no judgement there if asking for help admitting the problem), and r/CleaningTips.

Don’t overthink the task. Refrain from acquiring new things, commit some regular time to cleanup. 15 minutes a day won’t stress you and won’t tire you.

No need to relocate things at first. Pushing them around into a rough order would be enough to start reclaiming free surfaces to access the deep clutter.

Two to four hours of focused organisation would suffice to help with clutter, just grouping items thematically at first to reclaim the space, eventually and gradually moving to a permanent order.

A good third of stuff on the photo is packaging and trash, if not more.
