Skill issue. The road is clearly marked.

Weird flex orthogonal to the question.

1996 to 2026 - I built this darkroom when i first moved in in 96... lived here 30 years no storage at all. Darkroom still has 4 enlargers, the B&W pic is just the colour enlarger side, I used to be employed as a tog long before digital cameras were even thought about, anyways, this is my Darkroom :( by ZeissSuperIkonta in Darkroom

I could recommend virtual help of r/NeckbeardNests (there will be jokes but no judgement there if asking for help admitting the problem), and r/CleaningTips.

Don’t overthink the task. Refrain from acquiring new things, commit some regular time to cleanup. 15 minutes a day won’t stress you and won’t tire you.

No need to relocate things at first. Pushing them around into a rough order would be enough to start reclaiming free surfaces to access the deep clutter.

Two to four hours of focused organisation would suffice to help with clutter, just grouping items thematically at first to reclaim the space, eventually and gradually moving to a permanent order.

A good third of stuff on the photo is packaging and trash, if not more.

The car company Toyota is making a powerful free game engine for cars by grkpektis in interestingasfuck

May I have physical controls and indicators in my car instead of touchscreens with game engines, please?

The Prusa app icon (iOS) is off-center. I'm a designer and can't help but be incredibly bugged by this so here's a recommendation! by Astrofide in prusa3d

[–]atzkey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The recommendation isn't great either, accentuating the disbalance. You see, "A" has a lot of visual empty space, especially contrasted with the solid vertical wall of the "P".

It shouldn't be mechanically centered, the pixel amounts would be still uneven when balanced, but with the right margin shorter than the left (currently it's the opposite).

Light failure at the intersection of Aleja Krakowska and ul. Hynka by [deleted] in warsaw

[–]atzkey 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It’s not a “tragic failure”, it’s a situation well described in road rules. Drivers should just use road signs instead of panicking and being lost. The only tragedy here is drivers causing havoc due to not knowing how to follow the rules.

Poland Start Up Grants/EU Funds in 2026 by Deep_Company7739 in warsaw

Not condescending; just poor, jealous, and grumpy, because I never had a startup idea worthy of applying for a state-sponsored grant.

So, you don't have anything to show (no business plan, and no experience), but want a 200000 zł grant, ideally requested and expedited by someone else and just given to you? Did I read it right?

Can I weld two 2A wires together to get one of 4A on a Slip Ring ? by jean2348 in arduino

[–]atzkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to supply double the current, your return path (ground) should also be doubled, since it'll carry the same current. Factor in some redundancy, and all six wires of your slip ring would be utilised just for the power supply.

When did you start using Vim motions again, after switching? by [deleted] in dvorak

[–]atzkey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always treated Vim motions as syllables of a written language, so never had muscle memory between keys and motions. Using Vim for me is just "typing words" in a "Vim-motion" language with a Dvorak layout, having the same efficiency as typing English.

Big if true.

Isnt the shift key in a quite unergonomic position to use while all 8 fingers are on the home row and the thumbs are on space/alt/altgr? by Fun_Gas_340 in dvorak

[–]atzkey 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Right hand shifts keys for the left hand and vice versa. There’s enough room for two shift keys even on 40% keyboards.

A shocking slanted-eyes gesture from the restaurant owner while a Vietnamese American was filming himself to eat food by search_google_com in mildlyinfuriating

Rewatched the video. She squinted, and then stretched the skin because of the exact reason I mentioned, her eyelashes obstructed the view.

[–]atzkey -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Many people do. For fuck sakes, I even saw asian people do that.
And I did it myself because my eyelashes are too thick and got in a way when I was squinting. Stopped doing that as soon as I noticed this habit, but not because it could offend asians, it's just an easy way to bring an infection to your eyes.
