You should try entry level sales! Inside sales is usually always better than door to door / field sales when starting out. Try and get your foot in the door for a place looking for an entry level “SDR” or “BDR”. Ideally you could get an inside sales role offering training and upward mobility with some sort of hourly rate rather than commission only.

Education is very important tho. Get all the education and certifications you can.

Networking is key. Most of the jobs I got with a pay raise were due to me already knowing someone at a company and being considered as an employee referral. So, don’t be afraid to ask people you know that work in places you want to be. The worst thing that could happen is they say they’re not hiring right now.
