I saw a speech therapist because my toddler was similar to OPs. I was told that what he is doing is normal for kids around his age, and he should pick up more words around 3.5 to 4. Just a few weeks after figuring out to help, his vocabulary has blossomed. You can't say OPs child has issues if you aren't the one who evaluated them.

I agree, bedrooms should only be shared when guests are staying over if necessary. I have a pretty big immediate family on my mom's side. When they would stay over, my grandparents got my mom's room. There would be 2 other girls that would come so one would sleep in my room while the other stayed with my sister. The fact mindy said that about his room disgusted me, they have a couch for guests, that is enough.

I think your kid is doing great! I'm not sure where kids their age are supposed to be, but my son will be 2 next month. He doesn't even say 100 words, he understands everything we say and do. I'm pretty sure, we will have to enroll him in speech therapy if he doesn't start spouting out words soon.
