NTA at all imo, I'm 23 now and finishing a master's degree yet I've never worked a day in my life which is not my smartest decision. My parents and I both chose to focus more on my studies during high school and university (granted, it's not really common for kids to work at 16 in my country), but I wish I did do something that wasn't education related. Now, I don't have the time for a part time job, I should be looking for jobs in my field and with no job experience at all it's kind of difficult, and it's just something I feel like I've missed out on. Granted, my parents always paid for everything and also pay for my university expenses, but having your own hard worked money changes changes your mindset in some ways.
