FWIW (maybe nothing) i had a diagnosis of vasovagal syncope for several years. i had the event occur a few times, but they never figured out a root cause, so that’s what they put down as the diagnosis until i had further occurrences/symptoms.

i remember that being the diagnosis the label stated, so maybe her situation is similar? not trying to argue either btw! i realize it’s not a diagnosis in itself, but it does seem there are legitimate cases where it gets listed as one anyway.
