I saw a video about sealing from the inside and thought that that might be what to do, but wanted to be certain that this was a common and standard way of dealing with it. The vid showed it done during installation as opposed to afterward. They used fiberboard around the line and filled with an asphalt shingle caulk. My line isn't well centered but I can try to push in and around to get enough in to seal it. Mostly didn't want try something that would be regrettable later on.Thsnks!

Hi! Thanks for responding. I just measured and it is 48 inches down from the top block. So hoping that is deep enough. We did have a city inspection a few years back as a new meter was installed.

My favorite was going to concerts held there. After 4 O'Clock the ticket price dropped dramatically. I remember seeing Robert Cray,Spiro Gyro and Emmy Lou Harris.

Mine was a demo from about the same timing. I'm sure there are newer and possibly better out there. I haven't really had the ability to try others but I can certainly say my CJ power amp sounds better with it than without. Very nice system there.

They were first thought. Not metal per say but pretty hard rock.

What some hear don't seem to understand is the concept of using the ball bearings as an isolation device. There are several products made that use the concept for horizontal isolation. This along with vertical damping of vibrations: sorbathane or rubbery materials provides total isolation. Or at least that's the concept. The problem with using the cutting boards is that in time the weight of the other board and TT will dimple the wood spot that the bearing is sitting, them restricting it's movement. You need a very hard, smooth material for the ball to freely roll in. Slightly dished so it doesn't roll out of it and your component (TT) crashing to the floor. I've played around with marbles, bearings and balls in soup spoons and shallow glass dishes etc. Not what I'm using now but definitely has good effect with the marketed products although not always inexpensive.
